Hi,
I have a question to make sure I am ordering the correct harness. I have a 2004 Escalade. It has an aftermarket Kenwood DVD/Nav head unit. That is connected to a module that plugs into the factory harness. the module allows the unit to be used with the factory amplifier and still allows the OnStar and chimes. The factory amplifier is now shot and I want to replace the factory amp and speakers. My questions are these: Will the amplifier bypass harness allow me to remove the factory amplifier and still at least keep the chimes? I don't care about the OnStar, but I would like to keep the chimes for the back-up assist. Also, are there any other electrical issues I need to be aware of when removing a factory amplifier from the Escalade?
