After setting up an individual user ID, Bluetooth wireless technology can automatically communicate between the phone and headunit whenever the two devices are within range of each other. This lets you make/accept calls (including call waiting), talk, and hang up via the audio system, without touching the phone at all — even when, for example, the headset is in your pocket, bag, or briefcase.
