We are shipping VERSION 2 of this package: The following improvements have been made:
- We now have a harness which will plug in the AUDIO in the REAR location on REAR mount installations for cars with XM tuners in the rear. This includes the Acura TL and the MDX cars. Just wire EVERYTHING in the back and plug it in. You hit the A/V button on our EXCLUSIVE remote control and IR repeater to switch to it.
- The harnesses through our feedback has been made longer. This is now included
- For installations in the rear of the car, we now have separate leads for GROUND and IGNITION prewired into the 20 pin black harness
- There is now a choice to wire the AUDIO plug AT THE HEAD UNIT or AT THE REAR OF THE CAR at the XM TUNER MODULE. Choose your best option!

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR ACURAS
We have a new harness out for ACURAS. There is a harness that will wire the entire unit in he trunk of the vehicle. This makes installation EASY. If you are ordering for a TL, please select this OPTION from the drop down menu when order. You will order for the REAR LOCATION

For ACURA MDXs and for cars with dvd players under the passenger seat. Order for the REAR location. Then in the option menu, select with 12 FOOT EXTENSION (SHIPPING NOW) which will give you a separate extension cable that will then run to the back of your radio for the audio

This unit allows you to feed a video source such as a backup camera (we sell backup cameras in our CAR VIDEO department or click here) or a video source such as a dvd player when the car is parked. This unit also has a reverse bulb lead (+ POSITIVE) when it receives a + trigger from your reverse bulb, it will AUTOMATICALLY switch your NAV to the VIDEO camera input of the unit. Once you come OUT of reverse, it will switch back to nav. This is all automatic. For video dvd uses, check local laws before ordering and a separate handbrake connection is required which allows you to view dvd only with the hand or parking brake on. Multiple video inputs allows a dedicated video input and a separate camera input.

- It switches to CAMERA automatically when you hook up the reverse bulb (+ POSITIVE) wire to your navigation. PUT IT IN REVERSE and it switches your nav to the backup camera screen, nothing to press

Note: There is a parking brake wire which needs to be connected which will make the unit operate only when the parking brake is on and the car is parked.
