Not compatible with REF model factory radios. Model is indicated on the face of the factory radio.
Our INTERNATIONAL customers have confirmed our version to work with the European REJ Head Unit
Compatible with RAQ, REC, and RAK series factory radios. If the vehicle has a VES (Video Entertainment System), it must be disconnected. The audio from the VES will no longer play through the factory stereo, but the video and wireless headphones will still function normally. VES does NOT operate in R.A.P. mode, the radio will automatically switch from the CHYP to tuner mode during R.A.P. (Retained Accessory Power). Compatible with factory installed satellite.
The CHYP also comes with both an RCA jack and +12 volt output to add an auxiliary input. So customers can choose to select either their iPod or auxiliary input device to play through their factory radio. When selected through the radio, the iPod pauses and plays automatically. The CHYP even charges the iPod
