  I am going to install a remote start in a 2010 Crosstour.
  Will this work on that model?

    it will be 200% EASIER with the module above since it does the doorlocks and everything else in one module. This saves you a TON of time. It is compatible with your crosstour.

• Q: I have a 2000 Honda Accord coupe 5-speed. I have installed a Hornet 570T. The doors open/close just fine, but the only way the car will remote start is if I have the key in the ingnition and push in the clutch. Will this module bypass the clutch and key transponder? Does it connect directly to the remote start module?

    Yes, it connects directly to the remote starter, it connects to the ground while armed signal, on dei alarms such as yours, it is a blue or blue white wire. It will bypass the immobilizer so it will start. If your remote start is not designed for a manual transmission, we do not recommend you use it. You can hurt someone, we sell remote starts which are made for manual transmissions in our car alarm department.

    But you should consider getting this: http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=11376 which does the doorlocks, factory alarm wires also, and also the trunk release if you have it.

• Q: Why would you recommend a more expensive and complicated product? I would like to know your technical reasons. Will the SL3 not work?

    A: You can buy the SL3, but you will then have to wire doorlocks, factory alarm, disarm, and all the other circuits separately. Its up to you, in our opinion, its not worth it to try to save $30.00 when I have to invest more time and make my installation messier. And we like 64 bit modules, they are more reliable, and it just works better. But thats us, we dont like cars coming back and we dont like to waste time wiring more connections and making the entire job messier than it should be. You always get what you pay for.
