The Xact XS025 Sound System Portable Boom Box is designed to interface with the Stream Jockey XTR-1 Plug and Play satellite receiver. The boom box, with its two attached 4" speakers, gives the Plug and Play receiver portability, allowing you to play the unit virtually anywhere. An auxiliary input lets you connect a portable CD or MP3 player to the boom box.

Detailed Description
Power Options: The boom box can be operated on household AC current when the supplied AC adapter is used. The unit can also operate 8 D-cell batteries, allowing you to take it with you wherever you go. The batteries are automatically bypassed whenever the AC adapter is plugged into the unit.
Antenna: The unit comes with a Sirius satellite antenna with a 19-9" cable. The antenna cable has a single SMB connector. You must place the antenna in a location that has a relatively clear view of the Sirius satellite paths. For convenience, the antenna can be mounted to the 4 pegs on the back of the unit. Dimensions: Width=2.57", Height=1.32" (3.643 with antenna raised), Depth=3.225" Note: Sirius has three satellites that fly in a figure-8 pattern that crosses the central U.S.. Antenna placement will depend upon where you live in the continental United States.
Controls: The boom box features only two controls: a top-mounted power switch/volume control and a switch that lets you toggle between the satellite radio and the auxiliary input. The 3/4" tall power switch/volume control is located on the top of the unit and glows blue to indicate when the units power is on.
Inputs/Outputs: In addition to the receiver dock, the DC power input, and the SMB antenna jack, the boom box has one 3.5mm (1/8") mini-jack Auxiliary Input for plugging in a portable CD or MP3 player or other external audio device, and a 3.5mm mini-jack Auxiliary Output for connecting the boom box to another amplifier if desired. For private listening, you can use the top-mounted headphone jack (3.5mm mini-jack) for plugging in a set of stereo headphones. When headphones are plugged in, the units speakers are muted.
