Universal transponder module used with installation a remote start in vehicles requipped with RF (RADIO FREQUENCY based immobilized transponder systems.


This type of system is picked upthrough an antenna (or coil) around the ignition switch which is then sent ot the immobilizer transcever. Once the correct signal is received, the immobilizer will enale the ignition and/or fuel system. If an attempt is made to start the vehicle and the transciver does not receive a valid code, the ignition and sometimes the fuel systems are disabled. This product when hooked up properly only disables the remote start when in use, maintaining the factory system integrity. When the remote start is not in use, the factory immobilizer remains fully functional. Required for remote start installs with KEY chip immobilizers

This unit comes with a RUBBER *ADJUSTABLE* thin ring terminal for almost all types of cars.

Note: One of the original keys or a new coded key must stay with this system for it to work. Easy 2 wire installation (for most installations). Makes things a lot easier and neater. We also have custom immobilizer kits available which allow you to bypass the immobilizer without a key. Search under "immobilizer"

This unit will work with most vehicles, however some factory systems may require customization or other interfaces due to mounting issues, cosmetic differences or RF loss when coupling the factory RF with this ring.

• Ring goes around vehicle ignition switch
• This unit will work in vehicles with 2 wire immobilizer systems only
• Can be configured for a 60 winding position or a 18 winding position. The 18 winding position is for American and Asian vehicles. European vehicles requires 60 winding position. 60 winding position will be more sensitive to picking up the key than mode 1 opetaion
• KEY SENSE input: Some vehicles require that the vehicle NEVER "read" 2 keys at the same time (ie: Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute). These vehicles require the key sense wire to be located in the vehicle. When the unit senses an input (hooked up), it will drop out immediately allowing the vehicle to only see the key that was just placed in the ignition cylinder
• LATCHING input: Some vehicles require that the key code DOES NOT CHANGE during a run cycle (ie: MERCEDES ML SUV series). When hooked up, this unit will stay engaged the entire time the vehicle is running. This includes after the take over with the key. Unit will stay engaged until the vehicle is shut off.
