INSTALLS WHERE:
Plugs into prewired cd changer plug - 3 & 6 pin molex connection in the trunk of the vehicle.
MUST REQUIRE CD CHANGER PORT (so make sure you are not using it IE: Factory changer).
Does not control IPOD. Feeds audio in only.
Great for Portable Satellite radio connections, Portable MP3 players, in car entertainment video feeds, etc. We recommend you buy a set of RCA cables (see TOOLS DEPT > RCA CABLES) with at least 17 feet if you plan to have your source unit in the front since this wires at the rear of the car.
This adapter takes sound directly (stereo) via 2 RCA jacks and feeds it directly into the car stereo (just switch to CD changer mode - See factory manual) and voila, direct input sound.

INCOMPATIBLE:

Note: This product requires an open factory cd changer port.
All cars with DSP (digital sound processing) except for X5 are INCOMPATIBLE
6 series is incompatible

INDENTIFICATION HELP:

Cars with a 3&6 pin plug usually does not have DSP
Cars with a 3 pin plug and a COAX connector usually has DSP
