Fiber Optic D2B Mercedes Benz TYCO TYPE SIMPLE OPTICAL LOOP
This is a required part if you have an EXISTING CD changer in the car and want to install a D2B Dension GWl1DB2 Ipod / USB kit. CD changer removal is required, and it loops out the existing CD changer plug in the car. If you have BOSE in the car or another product using the fiber optics and if you do not loop out this plug, you will get NO SOUND. If you have a cd changer, and if you do not loop out this plug, the ipod adapter will not work. If you have a CD CHANGER in place, and if you try to install the IPOD adapter WITH the CD changer still connected, you will confuse the RADIO AND THE IPOD adapter, locking both or each, and this is NOT covered under warranty.
