Answered by AutoToys Staff A: Currently USB2 , if you dont have an XM button, there is NO WAY to get TEXT on your radio display, with this adapter or ANY ipod/AUx adapter on the market. The only way to get text is if your radio is compatible with XM (ie: Has XM button)
