Answer by AutoToys Staff A: If the FM modulator is on all the time, yes, you will lose reception on the FM and AM bands. However, this unit comes with an ON and OFF switch, so when it is OFF, it will restore full signal strength to your radio. Also, poor and cheap antenna adapters will create problems (if used), buy the antenna adapters if you need it from our dash kit department to avoid problems. We carry only NAME BRAND products.
Answer by AutoToys Staff A: This unit does not affect anything in the car, it works off an FM band directly through the antenna connection. All you need to do is access a preset band such as 88.7 and it will come through.
