Answer by AutoToys Staff A: EXCEPT for GM applications, which are automatically switched, for this ISBT21 to work, you have tio manually select the BLUETOOTH MODE. Once in bluetooth mode, you can then AD2P stream, make and receive phone calls. It will not affect the factory system, so you may use the factory for phone calls, and then switch to this unit for AD2P streaming.
On GM applications, if you receive a phone call, it will switch automatically.
Answer by AutoToys Staff A: You can have only 2 things connected to the unit at once, so if you already have HDRT, you can plug in the ISBT21, but you will lose the Ipod cable connection. You can then stream your Ipod through Bluetooth if it is equipped, but you will lose text.

Answer by AutoToys Staff A: Some PXAMG are not upgradable to the lastest version of the ISBT21, it is hardware and it may not work regardless of firmware. Bluetooth will work with AVRCP, watch our videos on the top of our site as we demo this in many vehicles.

With the exception of PGHGM1 applications, you MUST be in satellite radio/PXAMG mode to make/receive phone calls. If you are in any other mode the ISBT21 will automatically disconnect from the iPhone and will not function.
Currently the iPhone software does not support track forward/back through A2DP streaming
