This plugs in the trunk only if you have the XM NAV TRAFFIC (KEY WORD TRAFFIC ) in your XM TUNER, if you do not have that, it plugs in behind the radio. XM NAV TRAFFIC does not mean XM RADIO with NAVIGATION which is different than an XM NAVIGATION RADIO with the XM TRAFFIC option which shows TRAFFIC as a paid option from XM. This is an option when you dial into the settings, it will say traffic settings.

In either unit, to use bluetooth you have to be in the MODE THE MODULE IS MADE for (DICE MEDIABRIDGE OR PXAMG) and this is the same for ALL AFTERMARKET SYSTEMS. To clarify operation:
When IPOD mode is selected, you get full text through the factory radio and full controls from the factory radio
When AUX1 mode is selected, you get full control THROUGH the IPOD and the sound is fed in directly (not locked!)
When AUX2 mode is selected, you get aux audio from the aux input
When HD mode is selected, you select the optional HD tuner

2008+ Acura TL & MDX, RDX and 2006+ ACURA RL equipped with XM Nav-Traffic use the PGHHD2C harness and only support satellite radio emulation mode (use drop down when ordering)
Honda Element equipped with radio part number 2BW0 is not compatible. This number can be found on the LCD display just above preset number five.

CHANGING MODES:
Leaving and entering XM mode (simply push AM FM to leave XM mode then press XM or stand alone AUX and you will enter the MODE select menu. When in the MODE select menu, one of the following will be displayed, SAT, HDRADIO, IPOD,AUX1 or AUX2 - TURN the rotary knob until the desired source is displayed on the screen. The mode will auto select after 4 seconds. On some vehicles, you can also press the scan button to access the mode menu directly. On vehicles without a knob, you will use the tune button to select modes.

Expand your factory radio with PXAMG and a direct control HD Radio tuner. The HDRT receives analog and digital radio stations and gives you control through the factory radio, while retaining all the functionality of the factory installed Sirius Satellite Radio tuner. The HD Radio tuner will provide clearer sound on AM and FM as well as access to simulcast HD Radio stations that are not available through a standard radio tuner. Simulcast HD Radio stations are purely digital for optimum audio quality, and often offer an alternative audio selection.

Using a separate vehicle-specific harness, the Gateway plugs directly into the factory radio and provides iPod connectivity as well as HD Radio integration through the Peripheral Electronics HD Radio Tuner (HDRT). Unlike many integration solutions, the PXAMG retains OEM satellite radio, rear-seat entertainment controls and key driver convenience features to deliver a seamless user experience.
In addition, the Gateway’s extra auxiliary input supports many other portable electronics. This includes everything from navigation and game systems to satellite radio tuners and DVD players—making the Gateway a central hub for multiple portable technologies.
Specifically, the Gateway iPod Interface works with the iPhone and all iPod versions that use the standard 30-pin dock connector. It provides dual iPod control from either the clickwheel or the factory radio, allowing users to track forward and back for songs and browse by artist, playlist, genre, and album. If controlled from the radio, this information is displayed on the radio screen for easy navigation.
The HDRT is available separately and plugs into the Gateway. It receives analog and digital HD Radio stations and provides complete control of AM and FM tuning through the factory radio. Along with no subscription fees, users enjoy crystal-clear AM and FM reception and expanded content with exciting new formats. The HDRT displays all HD Radio information on the radio screen, as well as the artist and song when broadcast.
The result is a single interface that speaks directly to those consumers whose on-the-go lifestyle is driven by the growing number of portable electronics devices.
