CHANGING MODES:
Leaving and entering XM mode (simply push AM FM to leave XM mode then press XM or stand alone AUX and you will enter the MODE select menu. When in the MODE select menu, one of the following will be displayed, SAT, HDRADIO, IPOD,AUX1 or AUX2 - TURN the rotary knob until the desired source is displayed on the screen. The mode will auto select after 4 seconds. On some vehicles, you can also press the scan button to access the mode menu directly. On vehicles without a knob, you will use the tune button to select modes.

Preset 2 press to turn RANDOM ON (song, album, off)
Press 3 repeatedly to rewind current track
Preset 4 press repeatedly to fast forward current track
Preset 5 Press to move back one step while in browse menu
Preset 6 Press to enter into the browse menu, press to move forward one step while in browse menu
TURN KNOB
a. Turn counter clockwise to cycle backwards through songs or lists while in browse mode
b. Turn counter clockwires to return to previous track
c. Turn clockwise to cycle forward through songs or lists while in browse mode
d. Turn clockwise to advance to next track

Specifically, the Gateway iPod Interface works with the iPhone and all iPod versions that use the standard 30-pin dock connector. It provides dual iPod control from either the clickwheel or the factory radio, allowing users to track forward and back for songs and browse by artist, playlist, genre, and album. If controlled from the radio, this information is displayed on the radio screen for easy navigation. The HDRT is available separately and plugs into the Gateway. It receives analog and digital HD Radio stations and provides complete control of AM and FM tuning through the factory radio. Along with no subscription fees, users enjoy crystal-clear AM and FM reception and expanded content with exciting new formats. The HDRT displays all HD Radio information on the radio screen, as well as the artist and song when broadcast. The result is a single interface that speaks directly to those consumers whose on-the-go lifestyle is driven by the growing number of portable electronics devices. With the Gateway, consumers finally have the one product they need to connect those and future devices to an automobile’s media system without impacting its network integrity, performance and capabilities.
