Review below from customer Hey everyone! I want to share with you my recent engine air intake modification that I completed on my 1993 Grand Am GT 3.3L. I ditched the old factory filter box, which I might add, MAJORLY restricts airflow to your engine. I decided to order a cone air filter that I read about on a site. The brand is RACTIVE and I ordered it from AUTOTOYS.COM. It is an air filter like a K&N, except it has a heat shield. The filter is even purple like a K&N. I started this mod by ditching the whole air system. From the throttle body on. I wanted to move the cone filter away from the engine slightly, so I used a 3inch rubber -donut-, which it used to join pipes. From there I put a standard 3 inch PVC female adapter. Then, I put a rubber 3inch to 2inch adapter on the female adapter. From this, I put the cone filter on and used hose clamps to secure all of this. Now for the test....... OH MY GOD!!!! MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR DIFFERENCE!!!! WAIT TO GO RACTIVE!!!!!! You get immediate performance with this filter, which I HIGHLY recommend. Total cost: Cone filter(red) +s&h $39.90 Adapters $12.00 ------------------------------ $51.90 VERY MUCH WORTH IT (SECKEL)

I have a 2000 Kia sephia not a sportz car but it will do. I wanted a little nore hp so I removed the stock air box and installed the cone filter and wow hold on to your a**. This little improvement added what seems like 15% more horse power. No foolin, It is only a 4cyl. But you know what there able to do to these things these days. There is no kit for a kia yet but with some rigging it worked. As i was saying I removed the stock air box, Carefull not to harm the mass air sensor. connected the filter to the lip on the mass air flow tightened it up. Then i used some really thin wire to hold the cone in place and started the engine hoping not to get a check engine light. When nothing happened I took it for a ride. WOW, is all I can say this thing rules!! more power in take offs and my engine seems to run alot smoother. And a added Extra this filter makes the engine alittle louder. You can hear the added power. this thing is really somthing. For a low price and simple installation it's worth 10x the price!! bill, A very happy customer ***UPS Ground 48 states only.No postal or air
