    Multifunction Pac Oem-2 converter interface. This unit does everything, 4 configurations. If you have an amplified system in your car or truck, look into this.

    This unit can be used to:
    1. Replace a premium factory radio with an aftermarket stereo and USE the factory factory amplifier/speakers
    2. Four channel output converter for adding amplifiers to a standard factory system
    3. Adding aftermarket amplifiers to a factory premium system (BOSE, JBL, etc) in your Ford, etc
    4. Installing a radio with a floating ground speaker output to a common grounded speaker system like in early Fords. (floating ground is a + and a - for each speaker, common ground means there is a separate positive for each speaker but it uses a common ground or chassis ground) - if you do not use this, hooking up your new radio to your common ground system will burn out your new radio.


    Adjust up to 4 channels of signal input 2 to 60 watts, isolates the input and output circuits blocking DC noise, prevents snaps and other noises

    Whats neat about this converter is that it does all these functions, has built in gain controls and also has 2 pairs (4) rcas to give you so much flexibility. If you are looking to add amps, use existing factory amps with a new radio, etc -- this converter can handle it and handle it up to 60 watts! EIA colored leads means you can buy this and just buy a plug in harness from our harness department to make everything plug and play.


    Sealed potentiometers prevent circuit induced distortion and drift. Allows for converstion of floating ground head units to match common ground head units. Provides an internal trigger to turn on a 2 amp 12 volt power line with a 2 second delay for power antenna or amplifier. Delivers linear frequency response / 0.5db from 20 to 20khz.



    OEM-2 FAQs

    1. Q. Do I have to connect the red, yellow, black, orange, blue/wht and blue wires?
    A. If you want to use the internal low voltage trigger circuit, you must connect the red wire to accessory, black to ground and the blue/white wire to a low voltage circuit. The yellow, blue and orange are pass through wires.

    2. Q. Will the OEM-2 work in a xxx vehicle when replacing the factory head unit or adding an amplifier?
    A. The OEM-2 will work in any vehicle as long as the headunit does not digitally control the amplifier. If the signal between the factory heaunit and amplifier does not vary with volume the OEM-2 will not work. Some vehicles have a equilization circuit that cannot be retained when replacing the factory head unit.
