If you own a 3G Iphone (not the original Iphone), the 2G 2nd generation Itouch or the new NanoChromatic 4g, Ipod CLASSIC, these ipods WILL WORK with our ipod kits, but they will not charge.
This is because apple change the way the ipods charge in the new versions listed above.
ALL OLDER IPODS or OLDER IPHONES will charge.
To summarize, every ipod is compatible with the kits we sell, but ipods which charge through the USB will not charge. This is a change apple made to their ipods and it not only affects car ipod kits but every other ipod accessory on the market.
We will have USB 5 volt cables shortly for the Peripheral PXAMG and Blitzsafe ipod adapters shortly. It is expected that these new cables will be backward compatible and you will be able to buy the USB 5 volt cables to retrofit your existing ipod adapter. We do not plan to package this USB 5 volt cable as part of the PXAMG or Blitzsafe kits, it will be available SEPARATELY at an optional additional cost. You can buy the kits now and purchase the USB cable later.

BLITZSAFE
Most of our CURRENT BLITZSAFE adapters will have 5 v cables included. Our stock is FRESH and has the 5v cable inside. Blitzsafe 5v cables HERE!
DICE:
We plan to introduce some new IPOD kits from DICE shortly with the USB 5 volt cables in the kits and the kits will be backward compatible. There will be a price increase as the MSRP has been adjusted to incorporate the USB cable costs.

USA SPEC:
We will be carrying the new USB IPOD cable from USA SPEC. There will be a separate cable for PA10/PA11 kits and a different one for the PA12/PA15 kits.
Most USA SPEC kits are now 5 volt compatible
