    * mObridge Audio MERCEDES BENZ Ipod and Auxiliary Interface (FOR MOST) [ View product ]
Q: Can you tell me if the Random (or Shuffle) tracks feature works OK with the Mobridge A2010-MBZ-N installed in a 2007 MB GL450? I had a Dension GW500 installed already and the unit sounds fine, but can't get the iPod to shuffle. Installer claims it's a limitation with the Mercedes Command Center head unit. I'm not so sure. Thinking of buying the Mobridge to have them install it as a replacement, but need to be certain it will work better and perform this function.

    Thanks for your help,

    Answer by AutoToys Staff
A: Sometimes you can overcome this by setting the ipod to shuffle manually, and then as the car plays the playlist, it will be in shuffle mode.

This works with many OEM systems.

*SUPER SMALL 2 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER (compact amplifier 12volt dc) [ View product ]
Q: Trying to hook up the super small 2 channel amp. I cannot get the power light to come on. I am using an ipod for the music source. Do I need to have 12v power going to the Orange wire that would usually go to the radio?

    Answer by AutoToys Staff
A: Yes, the remote wire needs to be energized. Just because you got a green light or power, it will not sound. This is labeled as the remote wire (see the description of product)
