    Q: I bought the Simple iPhone auxiliary battery several weeks ago. When I needed to use it today, it failed because it appeared to not have a charge, though I know I’d charged it and set it aside in the event that I would need it several week ago. How can I tell if it is working correctly? I anticipated that it would accept a charge and hold it until needed. Either something I’m doing isn’t working, or I’m not doing something correctly.

    Questions:
    When charging, should the ON/OFF switch be OFF or ON?
    When fully charged, how will the 4 blue indicators on the back of the battery show, lit or not?
    How long will the battery hold a charge if it is the iPhone is not in its cradle, and the ON/OFF switch is OFF?
    How long will the battery hold a charge if it is the iPhone is not in its cradle, and the ON/OFF switch is ON?
    How long will it hold a charge if it is not used, and the iPhone is in the cradle, and the ON/OFF switch is OFF??
    When the iPhone is seated in the cradle, how should the blue indicators appear when the ON/OFF switch is ON?
    When the iPhone is seated in the cradle, how should the blue indicators look when the battery is fully charged, and the switch is ON?
    When the iPhone is seated in the cradle, how should the blue indicators look when the battery is fully charged, and the switch is OFF?
    How long does it take the battery to acquire a full charge, without the iPhone inserted?
    Can the battery to acquire a full charge, with the iPhone inserted and the ON/OFF switch ON?
    Can the battery to acquire a full charge, with the iPhone inserted and the ON/OFF switch OFF?
    How long does it take the battery to acquire a full charge, without the iPhone inserted?
    How long does it take the battery to impart power to the iPhone if the battery is fully charged?
    Will the battery charge the iPhone as it is being charged if the iPhone is low on power? (If so how should the ON/OFF switch be set?)
    How long will it take for a completely drained iPhone to achieve the maximum input from a fully charged Simple ProVolt battery once the ON switch is activated?
    What would the level of charge indicator on the iPhone show after the battery has contributed its maximum benefit?
    If seated in the cradle, and the switch is OFF, do the iPhone and the battery exchange any power?

    A: This adapter RETAINS the XM tuner of the car.
    The way this works is once you select XM, it will allow you to use the dial and then select

    1. ORIGINAL XM TUNER
    2. HD RADIO unit (optional)
    3. IPOD interface
    or
    4. AUX PORT

    This unit is unique that it allows you to add ipod, etc and keep the factory xm

    Q: Hi, does this make it so that the car has to be in neutral, parking brake up, and bypasses the clutch? I can bypass the clutch myself, but the other 2 I can't quite figure out how to do.

    A: This puts in a shut down procedure to make sure the car is in neutral.
