This was the first time I ordered anything online and I was a bit
skeptical. But since I used a credit card, I wasn't particularly
warried because even if something were to go wrong, I probably wouldn't
pay for the charges.
The secured line convinced me that Sound Conceptions was serious about
their online business. I felt reassured.
The package of CD changer came in about a week and everything was
perfect. The tech sheets were great help in installing the CD changer
to my Acura. Overall, I am satisfied with Sound Conceptions and will
continue to do business with them.

I ordered a Clarion 7475 head unit from you on a Saturday in July, got
it UPS ground on the following Wednesday, in only 3 business days, and I
live way over here on the west coast. Your price on it at was $145 less
than (mail order firm edited out), and at least $50 cheaper than any other internet
stores. Your included instructions were very thorough, who else would
have thought to include a 3 step way to crimp connectors. The cd player
is great. There's nothing quite like the seeing the reaction from
passengers in my car when they see my stereo scanning words across the
screensaver telling me to drive carefully when I put my keys in the
ignition. Anyway, I'm pleased with the unit, and especially with your
fine company. Expect to hear from me soon, I think I'll spend the money
I saved the deck on a new set of 6x9 speakers.

I ordered a Sony MDX-C7900 Minidisc unit from you and I certainly can say
I'm a very happy customer
I'm impressed with your no-nonsense and effective process. The entire
experience, from placing the order, email correspondence on the
installation, to receiving the well packaged unit at the expected arrival
time has been positive. I support your clear and concise return policy, to
keep abuse at bay, thus able to keep the price to absolutely low.
The installation is in a 1996 Land Rover Discovery. The unit replaced the
Pioneer OEM (piece of sh@#) head unit. It mates beautifully with the
somewhat-limited factory speakers system once I gave up trying to interface
to the Pioneer OEM (piece of sh@#) amplifier at the passenger side footwell
(by splicing into the amp harness). I could not rid the alternator induced
buzz because the factory amp does not use shielded connections to the head
unit and was not about spend a day to figure out other possible causes.
Keeping the OEM subwoofer/amp functional required adding two 33k resistors
(from RL and RR to the L-in and R-in to the subwoofer amp)at the amp
connector to attenuate the excessive gain. The unit's 40Wx4 is totally
adequate for sensitive listening level without excessive bass boost. I
mounted the rotary commander at the console on top of and forewent the rear
window control lock-out switch. The chosen location affords safe control of
all front panel setting of the head unit while vehicle is in motion.
I had always like Alpine car systems in the past but now I am sold on
Sony's. Sony should be credited for the excellent design and execution of
such a seamless head unit. Personally, the ease of handling of Minidisc for
mobile application really make CD changer unnecessary. Now I can leave my
CDs at home and not have to deal with loading and unloading the CD changer
cartridges. The unit sound as good as my high end Alpine system with AiNet
CD changer costing much more in the VW Westfalia.
You are right that a adapter harness is not available because of the factory
amplifier under the passenger seat (actually in the passenger footwell).
The total cost of the upgrade comes just under $300 with shipping (you gave
$5 discount as promised if the order is placed by FAX), compare to the
average street price of $399 is unbelievable!
I will refer friends in market for car audio.

Panasonic CX-DP601 changer for my Audi A4. After comparing prices at
