IMPORTANT: A lot has changed since we started this section in 1996. Each manufacturer used to have "one" wire harness for the radio. Today, it is not uncommon to have more than 30 different harnesses for any particular manufacturer. This amounts to hundreds of different plugs, different color wires and much more complications.

The wire colors listed may not work for you because of the changes. For this reason, if you are installing a new radio, we do "NOT" recommend you cut off the factory harness plug.
