I just want to start off by letting you know that this story is the
absolute truth and can be verified with almost anyone who knows me.
First of all, when I was 10, I was told I only had two weeks to live. I
had been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a rare blood disorder-similar
to Leukemia. It required a bone marrow transplant, a difficult and
delicate operation. My older sister was the donor, and although many of
my newly made friends on the hospital floor around me died, my surgery
was a success. Now that I'm 19, my parents are are still paying
hospital bills which total more than $200,000. And on top of it all, I
am in my second year of college. I couldn't even afford to live on
campus in my second year, so I had to borrow $3,000 from my girlfriend
(Pathetic, Huh?) in order to buy a vehicle so I could live with my
sister and commute to school. But that was the best $3,000 spent. I
bought an 87' Mazda B2200 Pickup with only 60,000 miles on it. Not only
was it in mint condition, it's fully customized with every toy
imaginable. This was already done to it when I bought it. It had
chrome rocker panels, chrome American Racing rims, It's lowered 2" in
the front and 4" in the back, blue neon underlights to match the
truck,an alarm, and it's tinted out along with a bed liner and a cover
to match. There is no room behind the seat for subs, but I'm saving up
every chunk of change I get to have a cut through done from the bed to
the cab. I'm also saving up for a bandpass box with a couple of MTX's
in it. A truck this customized has to have a good system in it!! (The
owners who sold it to me tore out the stereo before they sold it) But
now I'm really planning for my future, and I just bought an engagement
ring for my girlfriend(on a payment plan) So there goes my chunk of
change from time to time. But she's worth all I have, so it doesn't
bother me, but I'd still like to be able to work on my truck a little.
I guess this is my sob story, like I said, it's fully verifiable. I
could send you pictures of when I was in the hospital, hospital bills,
college bills, bills for the ring, .......... Oh yeah, almost forgot,
I do have the factory tape deck still in the truck, but one day I left
the truck unlocked in my girlfriends driveway. Somebody stole all my
tapes!!! I still haven't replaced even half of them, but I'm sure you've
heard enough out of me.

Hi Id like to enter your contest to win this prize for my husband.He works
as a driver for a dry cleaners and has been with the same company for 10
years.He doesn't get sick or personal days,never misses work,except for our
weekly vacation when we take the kids to the beach.My husband spends his
better part of his life in his van or"office" as he calls it.His boss is so
ceap he doesn't get the vans equipped with radios or air conditoning.So
while he sweats to death in the miserable humid weather in the summer,he
can't even listen to music to make his day go faster.WE don't have the xtra
money to buy him one and he wouldn't take the money out of our "bill" money
to buy one for himself.He does so much for our family and we would like to
be able to give him something he likes as a thanks.This would make a great

I don't think I should win this free radio but I would very much like to. I am
a big fan of car audio. Last summer I worked a summer-hire job and a regular
job just to buy some audio equipment. At the end of the summer I thought I
had enough to buy a deck and some speakers. I was so happy that I went out
the next day to the local car stereo dealer to purchase what I wanted.
Until I noticed how much everything cost. I ended up buying a JDL MIT45 tape
deck and 2 pairs of JDL - SP1614 (6.5"). I know to you this may sound like a
very poor system and to tell you the truth I felt the same. But I still felt
proud cause I had worked for this and earned this. Well, needless to say I
think you can figure out just how good it sounded and I quickly became the
laughing stalk of everyone with at least a decent system. Then to make the
situation worst one night after I got off of work I found my widow had been
busted in and they had taken my deck and speakers. What I do not understand
to this day is why would someone want to steal a system that all they do is
joke on. I just recently lost my job because my grades were dropping and I
can't take the chance of losing out on a scholarship to go to college. I had
thought about giving up on car audio until I saw this contest. I understand
that their is a very, very high possibility that I won't win, but I will
always keep my hopes up. Thank You.
