This DIY feature is from a Montero Sport with Infinity Sound System, powered by a Sony 754HX amplifier

Shown below is a pair of Pioneer TSA 1678s 6.5 speakers with swivel tweeters mounted in the same location! Notice the difference!

Removal of door panels, remove screw from doorhandle trim piece, purple dot shows another location where a screw should be removed.

Shown is the Toyota/Mitsubish Speaker plug in harness we sell (see our TOOLS department in our storefront)
This harness allows a PLUG in installation for any aftermarket speaker, plugs into factory plug with the correct polarity leads coming out into one large spade and one small spade connector for the negative terminal (autotoys.com always has speaker harness connectors in stock for this vehicle and many others! Email us or visit our wire harness department!)

Factory 3.5 speaker under dash location shown below, ourspeaker plug in harness also worked in this underdash location.
