SEE OUR CAR SPEAKER DEPARTMENT

Everyone is worried about changing speakers in the 87-92 Camrys in the back. Worried about mounting depth and more. Well, we wanted to put the matter to rest once and for all. We got a vehicle and installed a pair of PIONEER TSA 1678 2 way speakers swivel in the back. We have these speakers in stock, for immediate delivery.

The 6.5 TSA 1678s fit PERFECTLY in the factory location. We even used the original mounting holes to secure the speaker into place. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU ASK FOR. The original speaker grills simply SNAPS outward and out.

How easy is it?
Well, after removing the factory speakers, the FACTORY SPEAKER leads were the perfect size for the Pioneer 1678 speaker. It contained a large positive connector and a smaller thinner negative connector. IT PLUGGED right in and was a tight installation. The bottom arrow shows where the speaker wires come from outside the baffle box to inside the baffle box.

This is a shot of the original speaker, the original speaker grills cannot be REPLACED because the clips locked into the frame of the original speaker. What we did with the original grills is we used spray adhesive on the rim of the grill and fastened it back onto the back deck. Just by comparing the factory paper dual cone speaker to the new speaker, you can foresee a dramatic improvement. After installation, the customer claimed a 500% improvement by upgrading to the new speakers! All for under $90.00 (parts only)
