The factory speakers sounded terrible. The customer could not understand why they sounded so poorly after we switched the head unit out with a high power Clarion CD deck.

A wire harness was also used, which allows plug in installation a new aftermarket radio, see:
 

A Nissan antenna adapter is also required for this vehicle and MOST nissan vehicles, because it uses a non-standard antenna plug which is not compatible with aftermarket radios, see:
 
 

We started with the Passenger door shown above, there is one screw on the door handle. Remove this with a #2 or #3 screwdriver. Then rotate the handle and it will pull straight upwards and it will remove.
 

Shown above is a picture of the door handle removed. The power window switch will also pop up (it is held in by clips, remove the one screw from inside the door grab first) - The trim around the doorlock switch/door handle simple pops off.

We found out why the factory  speakers sounded so bad!
Another instance of speaker dry rot. Notice that the factory speakers had the ENTIRE surround missing! We was amazed again that these speakers were still playing. These speakers were found in a late model vehicle! Notice the speakers are of the dual cone variety, the customer chose a entry level 4x6 set of speakers from Pioneer. Price was a concern, but this pair of Pioneer 4611s still had new technology and a separate co-axial tweeter which improved imaging and sound by 500%! Even if your factory speakers are not in a shape as bad as these pair, they will still benefit from being upgraded to a aftermarket unit, especially if your car is at least 3-4 years old
