MERCEDES ML power window and power window motor fix. The power window motor and switch in the Mercedes ML is of a design which is causing constant problems. From what we understand, pre 2000 vehicles will reach a point (usually in the 2-3 year anniversary) where the window switches and/or motors will wear out. Newer vehicles supposedly have better constucted switches. In this article, we will show you how to remove the door panels in the ML and also how to remove the center console panels easily. If the motor or switch breaks, you may be stranded with an open window. I guess you can always call roadside assistance, but they may not be always available, especially on weekends and holidays.
