This article will give you before and after pictures of the EURO style taillights on a 1995 Honda Accord, a few tips on installation and all the information you need to change your current lights to these great looking SAE street legal EURO STYLE lights.

Ugh. Looks terrible!

Remove the bulbs from the factory housing. One clip on the main connector. Gently pull it forward and it will remove. Our kit includes 2 amber 1156 bulbs. We decided to change them.

Show is the 1156 single filament bulbs. Compare it to the factory bulbs shown above. The 2 1156 bulbs is for the reverse light and the turn signal. If you are replacement both, you will need a total of 4 bulbs total, 2 on each side. The brake light bulb is a dual filament 7443 bulb, one filament for parking light, one for the brake.

Shown is the driver side housing. There is a small little housing which we believe is the circuitry to display the bulb warning light when one of your brake light is blow. Remove the 2 philips head screws and remove it from the housing. Note. The bottom of the unit is exposed. Since the new EURO STYLE lights do not have any provisions to screw back on the unit, there is a possibility that the square box may touch metal in the car and GROUND OUT. We recommend using electrical tape and taping up the ENTIRE bottom of the unit (this is what we did), if you need good quality electrical tape, we sell 3M 1700 electrical tape in our TOOLS department.

To remove the housing, pry the little brown plugs off first which holds the factory loom. At that point, you will have 4 8mm bolts, just use a extended 8mm socket and remove the 4 nuts, the entire housing then can be easily removed. Push in your new EURO STYLE HOUSING, replace nuts and bulbs in sockets. IT IS THAT EASY!!
