BACK TO *1999* YEAR TECH SUMMARY | BACK TO DIY 2000-2006 TECH SUMMARY

Introduction:
This is an autotoys.com installation. One of several hundred by the staff of autotoys.com
This article is a sample of knowledge gained by working on real cars for over 18 years.
Online for over 10 years, when you buy a product from us, we give you real support when you need it.
Instant access to answers through our customer forums. With thousands of customers, avoid delays, errors and miscalculations in your installation.. buy from autotoys.com - your outlet for car audio, car alarms and auto accessories.

Products:
If you have an interest in any of the products in this article, everything featured (electrical tape, connectors, radio, alarm, wire ties, rca cables, diodes, screws --- everything is available 'now' (FOR SALE!) through our storefront). Remember, there may be many manufacturers out there who sell similar products as the ones featured in our articles, but if you want a problem-free smooth professional install, your only guarantee is to buy the same parts we use (see our storefront). Any slight difference in any of the parts and your install is ruined (plus you won't have access to our post sale support or forums). Especially important for alarm, radio and OEM changer products.

Sales People (be careful!)::
Everyday, we get dozens of requests through our chat & ticket support system, request for forum passwords, questions on installation problems or questions. We can only focus on questions from our customers. The questions are simple.. the answers are simple - but these people, because they did not buy from AUTOTOYS.COM cannot get an answer. Dont make a mistake by buying through auctions, fly by night operations or new pop up websites who are just a voice over the phone (a sales person) with absolutely NO EXPERIENCE.

No experience installing in cars, no experience what-so-ever! They barely know the products they sell! Don't make that mistake! Make sure your purchase is from autotoys.com. These articles are proof we know what we are doing and that we WORK IN CARS! We work on the newest cars with the newest products.

FREE FREE AND FREE!

With every purchase, only SOUND CONCEPTIONS  offers free connectors for radios and security installations. For example, if you buy a security system from us, we include free 3M large butt connectors for your starter kill connection, a ring terminal insulated for your ground connection, self tapping stainless steel screws for siren mounting and for your ground connections, small gauge insulated butt connectors and free tech sheets tailored for 'your' vehicle (year, make and model). For radio purchases, we include FREE insulated 3M high quality butt connectors to make all your radio connections. Plug in harnesses are available, this will speed your installation and will save you a lot of time.

HOW? KITS, HARNESSES & MORE

The plug in harness saves your factory plug going to your factory radio. This is especially important for lease vehicles, this means that when you return your vehicle, you can plug your factory radio back in! No hassles, no penalty fees!AUTOTOYS.COM s is the 'only' internet retailer which stocks harness, kits and converters for all vehicles made today and yesterday! We are direct authorized dealers for Best Harnesses (heavier gauge wire harnesses) and Kits, Metra (quality kits and harnesses). We also stock American International kits, Schosche Kits, Harnesses and converters. This means when you order a radio, if a harness or car radio dash kit is made for your vehicle we will have it. We also have up-to-date customized computer programs which show vehicle data, we also maintain a large library of reference guides from all security manufacturers, radio manufacturers and more. We invest a lot of money into our reference material, we rely on it for our own retail work, and we want you to have accurate information for your own installation!We update our data every couple months. To top things off, we are also professional installers with over 18 years of experience, majority of it serving new car dealerships. What does this mean? While most installation shops service 1 or 2 vehicles a day, we go through maybe 6-20 a day. Also, with the experience gained at new car dealerships, we have knowledge of all types of vehicles and all types of installations including Cellular, Foglights, Security, Radio, BrushGuards, Wood Dash kits and more. This puts our installation expertise at over 20,000 vehicles!! NO SINGLE INSTALLATION SHOP CAN EVEN COME CLOSE TO THIS.
